Donna Bryne

Donna Byrne is a jazz singer at the top of her game, a true entertainer whose music is fiery or tender by turns. Her powerful voice, energetic persona, and ability to convey a sense of her life experience gives her music a spiritual feel that captivates jazz fans and leading artists alike.

A native of the Boston area, Byrne has enchanted audiences from L.A. to London at venues such as the Blue Note Jazz Club, Tavern on the Green, The Rainbow Room and London’s Pizza on Park.

Singer Tony Bennett is an ardent fan and has invited her to open for several of his shows in the U.S. and abroad. He once flew home early from the Super Bowl to catch one of Byrne’s shows.

Joining Byrne on September 12th for this performance is her husband on bass, Marshall Wood (also bassist for Tony Bennett) along with members of the JOSA Ensemble including Bill Wightman on piano, Tim Gilmore on percussion, David Ellis on trumpet, and Rich Davidian on multiple saxes.
